What Information We Know About You and How We Use It

Personal Information that You Give Us

There are various areas on our Site where we either require or permit you to transfer personal information voluntarily. We use this personal information only for the specific purpose specified at the time you input such information. In addition, we never divulge such information to third parties without your consent.

These areas include:

• Business Partners. Business Partners members registered with Crown International Online have the ability to receive enhanced services and functionality on our site, specifically in the Secured Business Partners Resources Area. In order to become a registrant of the Secured Business Partners Resources Area, we ask Business Partners members for their first and last name and email address. This is only for those affiliated with Crown as a Business Partners member, administrator, or other persons who need access as determined by Crown.
• Message Boards and Postings. We offer private and secured message boards to be used by Business Partners. These boards require that Business Partners have an ID and Password assigned to them for access. Message Boards are monitored for inappropriate activities and can be audited as needed to remove such activity when necessary. No employee of Crown will ask for an ID or Password from Business Partners inside these message boards, and all information about user accounts is protected and not shared with third parties. Please see our Terms of Use before using such boards and/or postings and make sure to post only information that you are comfortable sharing.
• Lost Password Form. Business Partners may inquire electronically that their lost or misplaced password be re-sent to them via an electronic form on Crown International Online's website. This form is an unsecured email form. Information gathered from this form is kept private and not disclosed to third parties outside of Crown International Distributing.
• Support Forms. Crown International Online has several available forms for requesting support or asking technical questions. These forms are submitted in an unsecured manner via email and require that you provide a minimal amount of personal information. The information gathered from these forms is used only as long as need and then disgarded. Information gathered from these forms is not disclosed to third parties at any time outside of Crown International Distributing.
• Email Mailing List. Crown International Distributing maintains and operates an automated subscription service for important announcements to be sent by Crown to registrants via email. This system is voluntary, and "opt-out" options are given in every email sent to registrants, as well as online. No personal information is gathered beyond email addresses, and Crown does not disclose email addresses to third parties for any reason beyond those specifically detailed in this Privacy Policy document.

Information That We Independently Derive From Your Use of Our Site

Aside from any information you may actively disclose to us, there is other, less obvious, information that we might gain from you. Generally, we use such information for internal purposes such as to improve the content of our Web pages and/or refine the layout of our pages. This is generalized information that does not compromise your privacy; no information of a personal nature is gathered in this process.

Computer Information. While other sites may use them to gather information that may be considered private, the few cookies in use by Crown do not gather information of a private nature. IP Addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you begin service with an Internet Service Provider. Crown International Distributing collects IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to audit the use of our Site. Each time you connect to our Site and each time you request one of our pages, our server logs your IP address. Although we log your session with us, we will not normally link your IP address to anything that can enable us to identify you. Secured Business Partners Resource Site Security. Certain areas of content on Crown International Online are considered Business Partner only and protected by an encrypted ID and Password system.

Business Partners are advised the following:

• To help protect your account, please keep your password secure. We suggest that you pick a non-obvious password and one that mixes numbers and letters. In addition, we recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Crown International Distributing will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or email. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information.
• Remember to log out of your Crown International Distributing registered user account and close your browser window whenever you leave your computer.
