Warranty and Support Policy |
Crown international is both a VAR and distributor. Distribution channel products
are those sold as advertised through this World Wide Website without additional
services of any kind as paid for and ordered from Crown International
Distributing.
Additional services that fall outside those offered with the product through the
manufacturer are considered VAR or Value Added Retail services and imply
uniquely their own warranty and support limits above and beyond the
manufacturers own. Individual VAR agreements must always be consulted directly,
as received in writing upon purchase, for specific limitations and definitions
of warranty and support terms.
As a distributor, Crown offers nor supports any warranty implied or written on
any product purchased through this World Wide Website. As a distributor, Crown
International Distributing
does not specifically guarantee nor offer any support for any product purchased
through this World Wide Website. Products sold through the distributor channel
and not having additional VAR support services attached by purchase still
normally have manufacturer service periods. Crown assigns and passes through to
the Customer any and all manufacturer warranties. As condition of sale through
the distributor channel of Crown International, the Customer acknowledges and
accepts the fact that all warranty implied or written is through the
manufacturer. Crown reserves the right to assist Customers at or own discretion
when dealing with warranty claims for service or support on products bought
through the distributor channel.
CROWN INTERNATIONAL MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR EXPRESS WARRANTY WITH RESPECT
TO THE PRODUCT(S) PURCHASED THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTOR CHANNEL EXCEPT THOSE STATED
IN THIS DOCUMENT. CROWN INTERNATIONAL DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, AS TO ANY SUCH PRODUCT, INCLUDING AND WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING FROM STATUTE, TRADE USAGE, COURSE OF DEALING, OR
COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
Crown's VAR services include, but are not limited to, support contracts and
extended warranty periods. Under the terms of a support contract or period via
Value Added Retail services provided by Crown International, Crown provides
first, second, and third tier support as needed under the terms of contract or
service. This may include, but is not limited to, phone and email support,
access to secured areas of the Crown International World Wide Web for Customer
support, and on-site support or warranty service. See specific details of any
and all support
service agreements for specific details regarding service
minimums and maximums.
