School Administrators and educators are using ViaVoice in many ways. School principals can easily communicate with parents using voice-enabled forms (Templates). "This letter is to inform you that your [daughter Jane] was absent from school today. " In this example, the official would dictate the name of the template. ViaVoice would bring up the form and then pause waiting for him to say the word son or daughter. It would then pause again wait for the name of the student. The principle would then say the word print and the form letter would be complete and ready to mail.

Other educators are using ViaVoice in special educational situations. I know of one private educational organization that is using ViaVoice with gifted children to teach them to use an advanced vocabulary and creative writing skills.

A Public School District in the Chicago suburbs has been using ViaVoice for several  years to work with children who are having difficulty in writing their assignments. They are using ViaVoice (Both Windows and MAC version) to help student with problems like dyslexia, physical handicaps or poor handwriting skills.
