Crown International’s Defense Report Writer is an extremely accurate speech enabled report writer that utilizes our proprietary new Voice Automated Defense Vocabulary along with either IBM ViaVoice for Windows release 10, Pro USB or release 10 (rev B) Pro USB.

With either Speech Recognition engine, your field agents or office staff dictate their reports into a headset connected to a PC in their normal relaxed tone of voice. They include any needed punctuation. Then the text almost instantly appears on the screen of the PC with no misspelled words. Naturally, they must pronounce the words clearly for best accuracy. They then check the work for any misrecognized words, correct any factual errors and then print the finished report. Defense report writer is capable of producing written reports with an accuracy of up to 99% in the hands of a trained user. Users can dictate as fast as they can speak clearly, 150 or more Words Per Minute is possible. This is much faster and more accurate than most people can type. 

The Defense Report Writer Vocabulary consists of the existing Voice Automated Law-Enforcement Vocabulary which was first compiled with report data from the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angles Police Department. 

We then added thousands of words extracted from world-wide news reports, Government non-classified & commercial web sites and other published documents containing the names of terrorists, terrorist organizations, foreign locations, United States and foreign conventional and W.M.D. weapons terminology are included.
